About this Event
Join AWARE NI, on behalf of the All-Party Group on Mental Health, for a timely conversation on how we can build mentally healthier workplaces across Northern Ireland.
Mental health at work affects individuals, teams, organisations and the wider economy. This event will bring together policymakers, employers, practitioners and workplace leaders to explore why workplace mental health matters, what good support looks like in practice, and what more can be done to create healthier working environments.
The programme will include:
- a ministerial discussion on workplace mental health as a health and economic issue
- practical insight from AWARE NI on supporting conversations in the workplace
- expert input on the economic cost of poor workplace mental health
- an employer panel sharing experiences, challenges and lessons learned
This event is designed for:
- employers and business leaders
- HR and people professionals
- public sector and policy stakeholders
- community and voluntary sector organisations
- anyone with an interest in improving mental health at work
There will also be time for networking and informal discussion following the main programme.
