Instructor Introduction

​Hi, I’m Ziheng Wang, the creator and instructor of the Mental Fitness Bootcamp. My unique journey—from earning a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2015 to becoming an Engineering Manager at Meta—has shaped my passion for helping professionals thrive in high-pressure environments.

​During my career in the fast-paced world of tech, I’ve seen firsthand the immense value of a strong, calm, and resilient mind. That’s why I expanded my expertise to become a Certified Hypnotist (NGH) and a Mental Fitness and Career Coach, combining technical leadership with a deep understanding of the human mind and emotions.

​This program is the result of years of experience and integration. It blends elements of hypnosis, mindfulness, meditation, neuroscience, and psychology into practical, actionable tools designed specifically for workplace challenges. I created this program to bridge the gap between these transformative techniques and the realities of professional life, offering methods that are easy to learn, instantly applicable, and effective in just seconds—whether you’re in a meeting, facing deadlines, or managing difficult conversations.

Mental Fitness Bootcamp Curriculum

​Our 8-week journey will guide you through mastering the 7 core mental muscles—Recognize, Detach, Observe, Release, Cleanse, Create, and Focus. Each week builds upon the last, equipping you with powerful, practical tools to strengthen your mental fitness.

Series 1

Week 1: Foundations of Mental Fitness

  • ​Introduction to the 7 mental muscles and the science behind mental fitness.
  • ​Understand how mental fitness transforms your ability to handle stress and achieve clarity.
  • ​Practice the first ability: Recognize—learn to identify emotions and mental states as they arise.

Week 2: Sharpening Awareness

  • ​Deepen your ability to Recognize emotions in real-time.
  • ​Explore Detach—shift your focus away from emotional triggers to regain control quickly.

Week 3: Mastering Detachment and Observation

  • ​Strengthen Detach with advanced techniques to create emotional distance.
  • ​Develop Observe—learn to step back and analyze situations with a calm, objective perspective.

Week 4: Releasing Emotional Baggage

  • ​Dive into Release, the ability to let go of negative emotions that no longer serve you.
  • ​Practice quick, effective methods to free yourself from stress and tension.

Series 2 (Not included in the workshop pricing)

Week 5: Cleansing Part 1: The Emotional Reset

  • ​Begin your journey into Cleanse, a deeper exploration of clearing emotional debris.
  • ​Learn to use tools like the “affect bridge” to trace and heal hidden emotional triggers.

Week 6: Cleansing Part 2: Forgiveness and Freedom

  • ​Focus on cleansing emotions tied to anger and resentment.
  • ​Practice using forgiveness as a powerful tool for emotional liberation.

Week 7: Cleansing Part 3: Reclaiming Worthiness

  • ​Address self-doubt and self-damaging emotions through the lens of deservingness.
  • ​Reconnect with your intrinsic worth to boost self-confidence and inner peace.

Week 8: Creating the Life You Want

  • ​Master the final ability: Create—build the emotional and mental states you need to succeed.
  • ​Learn to design your inner world, shaping your responses to challenges with intention.
