Restorative and deeply healing day retreat for Mothers at any stage of their Matrescence Journey. After arriving and connecting to the circle of women, you will be guided and tenderly supported to move through the following practices:
🌹DEEP RELAXATION 🌹
Begin the day with Restorative Yoga & a soothing sound bath helping you to achieve a state of grounded presence. Resting the mind, body & spirit on the earth layer by layer cultivates a sense of being held by the great mother, this sense of nurture allows you to go deeper throughout the day.
🌹CACAO & ROSE MEDICINE 🌹
These mother plants work to soften the edges of your heart. To allow the flow of dense energies and emotions to pour out and the wisdom and love of grace to pour in. The medicines will support your healing process and aid integration afterwards.
🌹ANCESTRAL MOTHER BLESSING 🌹
Journey to the grove of your ancient mothers, where they wait for you with open arms. As they embrace you, show them all the layers of your journey of matrescence. Then listen for their whispers of love, their healing songs and let them tend to your heart.
🌹SHARE CIRCLE🌹
Take this opportunity to unburden yourself with complete safety to this sacred circle of mothers. Be witnessed without judgment, without being interrupted or given advice. In the deep share, you find your wisdom, your own truth and find resolve to create more beneficial patterns in Matrescence.
🌹MOTHERS MENDING POT🌹
This ritual is sympathetic magic. The mending pot has been created for this work, on behalf of the collective of mothers who share a universal yet unique experience and have all felt pain on some level during their journey of Matrescence.
As we sing and release together, take your turn to pour into the pot all that you come to heal in this retreat. Loss, grief, rage, guilt, shame, loneliness; leaving the shadows of your Matrescence journey in the belly of the pot.
Then make your prayer to the great mothers for the rest of your ongoing Matrescence journey, for your children and the collective.
🌹CLOSING OF THE BONES🌹
Based on the South American Post Natal ritual, we work in pairs anointing and massaging hips, bellies and womb spaces. Blessing all they have held and all you have been through in your Matrescence journey.
No matter how long ago you were pregnant the healing goes deep into the body and cellular memory.
Then one by one each mother is wrapped, rocked and sang to, bringing this day retreat to a blissful and integrative conclusion.

Price is £44 including snacks and tea.
There are a limited number of tickets at £35 for those mothers who are not feeling resourced but still needing the mending of this day retreat.
8 places ONLY, this is so each woman has a large amount of space to go deep with herself and the group.
Nourishing snacks and teas will be offered throughout the day to help sustain your energy levels.
