Something special happened at Aviva Stadium �
The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland officially launched the 2026 Alzheimer’s Memory Walk supported by Aviva Ireland; and the energy in that stadium said everything about why this walk matters so much.
On Sunday, 20th September, people across Ireland will come together in over 40 locations nationwide - families, friends, carers, and those living with dementia, walking side by side to honour old memories, and make brand new ones �
This year a new walk is being organised in Beara starting at the Caha Centre in Adrigole.
This walk is for the 64,000 people living with dementia in Ireland right now. It’s for the families holding them close. And for everyone we carry in our hearts.
Every step. Every registration. Every euro raised supports Dementia services such as Daycare services, Support Groups, Social Clubs and Helpline that make real, everyday
differences to real people’s lives.
Last year alone, Memory Walk raised over €240,000. This year, let’s go further, together. �
