Join us for a Fish Fry and a night of dancing to one of Downeast's Favorite Bands - Whiskey Bent. This night will benefit the House in the Woods in Lee, ME.
House in the Woods is a nonprofit organization offering free therapeutic outdoor retreats for active-duty U.S. military personnel, veterans, and their family members.
Activities include
Canoeing and kayaking
Hiking
Hunting and fishing
Nature tours
Campfires
Swimming
Wildlife identification and spotting
These programs are designed to foster bonding, relaxation, and emotional healing through shared experiences in nature.
All food, lodging, and activities are provided at no cost to participants. The organization funds its operations through donations, merchandise sales, and fundraising events.
This event will help them with their efforts. We plan to donate the profits of the Fish Fry, run a 50/50 and take monetary donations to give to House in the Woods.
