The annual Christmas Parade will take place Saturday, December 5, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. in Downtown Ellsworth.
This year’s parade theme is Gingerbread Dreams & Candy Cane Wishes
Parade Route:
The parade will travel along State Street, across School Street, onto Main Street to the lower traffic light, and then back up State Street.
Spectators are encouraged to line the route and enjoy the festive sights, sounds, and holiday spirit as community participants make their way through downtown.
Community Tree Lighting:
The holiday celebration will continue following the parade with the City of Ellsworth's Community Tree Lighting at City Hall. The tree lighting will take place right in front of City Hall, immediately following the completion of the parade, inviting families and community members to gather together and continue the festivities.
Come be part of the tradition and help us light up downtown Ellsworth!
The Christmas Parade of Lights has been bringing the community together for decades, and its continued success depends on the enthusiasm and participation of local residents and organizations.
