Before You Leave for Labor Day Weekend... Join Us for "Meet the BADWest Members Mixer"! - the first Pre to Post Workshop of the 2026-27 season and connect with the vibrant BADWest community.
Whether you're a documentary filmmaker, documentary film lover, supporter, donor, or simply curious about BADWest, this gathering is the perfect opportunity to learn more about who we are and what we do.
Come meet BADWest members, supporters, and donors while building relationships with documentary filmmakers and nonfiction storytelling enthusiasts from across our community. Discover how BADWest supports Black documentary makers and how you can become part of our growing network.
The evening will feature:
- Fun and engaging icebreakers
- Networking with filmmakers, supporters, and film lovers
- Our signature Black Doc Trivia
- Special ticket giveaways to our annual Day of Black Docs event at the American Film Institute
- Information about upcoming BADWest programs, workshops, and opportunities
Most importantly, you'll have the chance to get more acquainted with BADWest and learn about the benefits of membership.
