This monthly workshop will include a combination of AA approved literature and basic meditation modalities such as: breathing techniques, grounding, visualiztion and body awareness. ��Meditation and prayer are suggested in step-work. When starting any habit, having support and guidance is critical to success. If you feel overwhelmed or would like to know more about what it means to meditate then this is the perfect place to learn. Having a safe space shared with people who are on your same journey can help plant the seed to begin a healing, lifetime habit. This monthly workshop will give old-timers new tools and newcomers a place to navigate the anxiety inducing work of finally feeling new emotions.
Christince has been extensively trained in yoga and meditation. She has held accreditations for over 10 years and continues to dedicate herself to continuing her personal practice and education. She has also been trained under multiple state and county programs aimed at providing services and advocacy for people during traumatic events.
