Does your body look like the ‘yoga body’ portrayed in popular media? No? Me neither.
Curvy Yoga meets us where we are today, in the body we have today. You’ll learn how to adapt poses to fit your body, instead of forcing your body into an uncomfortable position.
Yoga is more than the postures and poses, it’s tuning into your body and understanding what your body needs today. During the six weeks, we will explore pranayama (breath awareness), meditation, as well as yoga asana (poses). Many different versions of the poses will be presented, allowing you to find what works best for you. Yoga props will be used to assist in finding your favorite version of a pose.

Class size is limited, registration closes Friday, July. 12, 2024. You are signing up for a series of 6 classes, no refunds for classes not attended. In the event of inclement weather that causes a class cancellation, a make up class will be scheduled,
