The McHenry Soap Box Derby is BACK after 7 years! 🏁Get ready for one of McHenry’s most fun, family-friendly traditions returning to downtown! Whether you're racing or cheering from the sidelines, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
Ready to race?
Registration is just $50 — but don’t wait, the deadline is Friday, May 1! Be sure to sign up and attend our clinics to get all the details you need to compete. For kids ages 7-13.
Important Dates, if signing up:
🔧 Build Clinic: Tuesday, May 12 | 6:30 PM
📋 Mandatory Meeting: Tuesday, June 9 | 6:30 PM
🏎 Practice Run: Saturday, June 13 | 9:00 AM

Come out, mark yourself as “Going,” and enjoy a high-energy, kid-friendly day in downtown McHenry. Cheer on racers, soak up the excitement, and be part of the comeback!
