The "Run for the Hills" fundraiser has allowed the "Friends" to provide numerous park enhancements, programs and annual environmental college scholarships. Park improvements include extensive habitat restoration, trail side educational panels, a lake terrace overlook with exhibits, information kiosks, wildlife viewing stations, trail paving, nature center upgrades, birdfeed stations, general park maintenance and much more.
