McCarthy Woods Guided Tour
Join Owen Clarkin, president of the Ottawa Field Naturalists' Club, as he takes us on a guided tour of one of the best-preserved forests in Ottawa, McCarthy Woods. Once mostly cleared for farmland, it was left abandoned and has reverted back to nature, and is now a precious nature spot in a coveted part of the city.
We will meet at the Hunt Club-Riverside Park Community Centre at 3320 Paul Anka Dr., and walk from there. No registration needed, just show up. We will loosely aim to end the walk around 1:00.
If you would like to be added to the mailing list to be notified of future tours, please email [email protected]. This walk is hosted in cooperation with the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library (https://wildflowerseedlibrary.ca/).
