Main Street Brews & Tunes will host musical guest Martha Spencer and Blue Crab Bites food truck will be on site along with local brews from Main Street Cafe on Sunday, June 14th. 🎶🦀
Martha Spencer is an acclaimed Appalachian musician known for her lively blend of old-time, country, and bluegrass music. Raised in a musical family in Virginia, she plays multiple instruments and is also a skilled flatfoot dancer. She performs across the U.S. and internationally, and is a regular in East Tennessee, including Jonesborough’s Music on the Square. Spencer’s work preserves the traditions of mountain music while bringing fresh energy to the genre.
This event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to ensure seating. Food & Brews will start begin served at 4 p.m. There will be rotating food trucks and brews on tap each week.
Yoga in the Park takes place during Brews & Tunes at 4 p.m. in Jimmy Neil Smith Park behind the International Storytelling Center. Each class lasts an hour. There is no cost to participate, but donations are accepted. All levels are welcome from beginners to advance, and this series will be taught by certified area instructors.
