As part of the "Midwinter Magic in Hokitika" festival, there will be a series of Heritage Talks at Westland Industrial Heritage Park.
This talk will involve learning about our early maritime history including the sinking of the Moa, Hokitika floods, pleasure boats and other stories
The Museum of Fire stories start from 1865 to the modern appliances in our collections. We'll cover the establishment of the brigade, the early appliances and the rare items.
