Manchester Village Pride 2026 - Join GMCA & GMFRS Entry!
About this Event
GMFRS and GMCA colleagues and volunteers, plus UK Fire Pride 2026 delegates are invited to volunteer their time to walk alongside our fabulous vehicle through the city centre streets of Manchester! We’ll be sharing our important safety message with communities along the route while proudly celebrating our LGBTQIA+ colleagues, volunteers, allies and communities. Taking part is an all-day commitment which includes a bit of hanging about before the parade gets moving and around three hours of walking. As we walk, we’ll hand out freebies and stickers, wave to the crowds and wear our GMCA GMFRS ‘Proud to Serve’ and ‘Proud to be Visible’ T-Shirts!
Friends and family are welcome, but colleagues are responsible for anyone they bring. Places are limited, so each participant must register their individual place and secure their own ticket.
If there are children taking part with you, you must register each child their own ticket and put your contact details as the adult responsible for them on the day.
Further details about the day and parking/transport options will be sent to participants once they are registered.
Participants will need to attend an online safety briefing in advance of the event and also on the day.
If you have one of our ‘Proud to Serve’ and ‘Proud to be Visible’ T-Shirts, please wear it again it for this event! If you require a T-shirt, please indicate which size you require when registering for your ticket.
