Looking for a creative, confidence building activity for young people this summer? Manchester School of Theatre’s Summer School offers a fantastic introduction to performance
Put on a musical in 5 days! Energetic and engaging, this week-long workshop inspires students through a blend of challenge and creativity. Guided by our skilled and highly qualified teaching team, participants embark on a vibrant learning experience that culminates in a fully staged musical performance for an invited audience. Qualified and experienced creative leaders are supported throughout by a committed group of specialist assistants and break time supervisors.
Course detailsThe Summer School takes place from Monday 27 to Friday 31 July 2026, running daily from 10am to 5pm at Manchester School of Theatre, Grosvenor East, Cavendish Street, Manchester.The week culminates in a live performance on Friday evening (6 to 7.15pm) for an invited audience of family and friends.The course is open to young people aged 5 to 15, with participants supported throughout by experienced teaching staff, specialist assistants and dedicated breaktime supervisors.FeesStandard fee: £200Early bird: £170 (available until 1 May 2026)Sibling discount: 10% off second and subsequent siblings - please ensure you are booking the correct ticket option to recieve this discount. 
Please note: All bookings are non refundable. Places may be transferred to another participant.
Participants should bring their own lunch, snacks and drinks each day, and wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement and performance.
