About this Event

First Rule is a comedy community open to comedy writers, improvisors and actors* in Manchester and the North West. We put on a host of events, including Competitions, Improv Jams, Scratch Nights, Showcases, and a variety of expert-run Courses and Workshops, suitable for all abilities.

Our goal is to provide a space for comedians to collaborate, learn new skills, and produce fresh works.

*Please note, while we welcome stand-up comedians joining us to write or perform, we will not be hosting stand-up specific sessions. Our sessions will be focused on writing for screen, stage, print and radio. Over 18s only.
