The Carlton Club Jazz Club has quickly become a staple, among others, in the Manchester Jazz scene, offering a lovely Sunday evening showcasing some of the best Jazz artists from the city and sometimes further afield.
Rachel Derwent began singing jazz in 2020 at a jam night in Birmingham. She then moved to Manchester and has been singing from the great American song book at local jazz gigs.
She now also sings with the 20-piece big band Tanner and the Tones, with whom she has performed at Band on the Wall and Academy venues, as well as more recently performing with her trio.
Mike Sapienza – Drums
John Sandham – Bass
Joe Tanner - Piano
See you on the 26th for more wonderful live music at the Carlton Jazz Club. Pay as you feel, all donations will go to the musicians.
