Making Moves | Singles Volleyball & Social

Join us for a social volleyball experience designed for singles who want to get active, make new connections, and enjoy a great evening with like-minded people.

Whether you’re a volleyball pro or have never played before, this event is for all abilities. A coaching session from a qualified Yellowave coach will guide you through warm-ups, skills, and friendly games designed to help everyone get involved - no awkward standing around, just an easy way to meet people through a shared activity.

After the volleyball session, we’ll head to a local bar for drinks and the chance to continue getting to know everyone in a more relaxed setting.

What to expect:

• You will be playing volleyball with your age range and everyone will mix at the drinks afterwards
• No pressure — just come along, get involved and enjoy yourself

By purchasing a ticket for Making Moves Singles Volleyball, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Event Policies.

Tickets are valid only for the person named on the booking unless otherwise agreed by the organisers.

Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law. If you can no longer attend, please contact us and we will do our best to help where possible.

The organisers reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the event format, coaches, timings, venues or activities where necessary.

This event includes physical activity and participation in volleyball games.

By attending, you confirm that:

• You are physically able to participate safely.
• You will listen to instructions from coaches and organisers.
• You will take responsibility for your own wellbeing during the event.
• You will let the organisers know if you have any injuries, medical concerns or accessibility requirements that may affect your participation.

Please play within your ability and stop if you experience pain, discomfort or feel unsafe.

We want everyone to feel comfortable, welcome and able to enjoy themselves.

All attendees are expected to:

• Treat other attendees, coaches, venue staff and organisers with respect.
• Respect personal boundaries and individual choices.
• Communicate in a friendly and considerate way.
• Follow instructions from event staff.
• Help create a positive environment for everyone.

We do not tolerate behaviour that makes others feel uncomfortable, excluded or unsafe.

Harassment of any kind is not acceptable at our events.

This includes (but is not limited to):

• Unwanted romantic or sexual attention.
• Repeated unwanted messages, contact or advances.
• Inappropriate comments about someone's appearance, background or identity.
• Unwanted physical contact.
• Intimidating, threatening or aggressive behaviour.
• Discriminatory comments or behaviour.
• Any behaviour that causes another attendee to feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

Everyone attending has the right to enjoy the event without pressure or unwanted attention.

If someone indicates they are not interested in continuing a conversation or interaction, please respect their decision.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee from the event where we believe their behaviour:

• Is unsafe.
• Is disruptive.
• Is inappropriate.
• Breaches this Code of Conduct.
• Causes concern for the wellbeing or enjoyment of other attendees.

This includes behaviour during both the volleyball session and the social gathering afterwards.

Anyone removed from the event will not be entitled to a refund.

We love sharing the energy and atmosphere of our events and may take photographs and video footage during the event.

By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in photos or videos captured by the organisers, photographers or content creators.

Content may be used for:

• Social media channels.
• Website content.
• Marketing materials.
• Future event promotion.

If you would prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please let a member of the organising team know when you arrive and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

Information provided when booking will be used to manage your ticket, communicate event updates and provide information relating to the event.

Your information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.

The post-volleyball social takes place at a third-party venue.

Please drink responsibly and respect venue rules and staff instructions.

The venue reserves the right to refuse service in line with applicable licensing requirements.

The organisers are not responsible for decisions made by the venue regarding alcohol service.

Please take care of your personal belongings throughout the event.

The organisers are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items.

If the event needs to be cancelled, postponed or significantly changed, we will communicate this as soon as reasonably possible.

Where applicable, refunds will be handled in accordance with our cancellation policy and applicable consumer protection laws.

By attending, you acknowledge that events involve interaction with other attendees and participation in physical activities.

You agree to act responsibly and respect the safety, comfort and enjoyment of others.
