About this Event

Learn your sewing machine from the very beginning.

Have a sewing machine that's been sitting in a closet? Recently inherited one? Bought one with good intentions but aren't sure where to start?

This workshop is designed for complete beginners. If you've never sewn before, don't know what the buttons do, or have never successfully threaded your machine, you're in the right place.

We'll slow down and cover the basics together so you can build confidence before tackling your first sewing projects.

What We'll Cover
  • Getting to know the parts of your sewing machine
  • How to wind and insert a bobbin
  • Threading your machine
  • Understanding basic settings
  • Sewing straight lines and simple practice exercises
  • Common troubleshooting tips for beginners

By the end of class, you'll feel more comfortable setting up your machine and practicing on your own.

Please Bring
  • Your sewing machine
  • Power cord and foot pedal
  • Bobbin(s) if you have them
  • Your machine manual (if available)

Basic thread, fabric, and practice materials will be provided.
