TexAss: Queer Comedy Show
About this Event
TexAss was started because the founders wanted to watch a full lineup of queer comics on one stage. Not one slot. All of them. So we built the show ourselves, and made sure every comic got paid for it. Three and a half years and a lot of shows later, that's still the whole point.
TexAss started at Creek and The Cave and had a home at ColdTowne Theater. The show got spots all around Austin, including Cheer Up Charlie's and in comedy festivals. Comics have flown in from other states to perform in this show.
Then, we took a break. Now TexAss is back, at Fallout Theater, and Sarah is still hosting and performing their own set too. Sarah runs the show, books it, and files it on their taxes, so as far as the IRS is concerned, TexAss is a real business.

Hosted by Sarah Spear. It's queer comedy, made by queer people, for a room that just wants to see a boss bitch succeed.

REFUND POLICY:
Refunds can be requested up to 24 hours before the start of the show. If you purchase tickets and are a no-show on the night of the performance, you forfeit the right to a refund. Email [email protected] or contact Eventbrite through your purchase receipt.
AGE REQUIREMENTS:
We recommend audiences to be 18 or older due to mature content on stage; however, those under 18 are welcome with parental discretion.
PARKING:
Street parking is typically available within a 2 block radius of the theater. Try parking north of 7th Street on Lavaca, or west of Lavaca near Guadalupe & 8th (by the old library). We do not validate parking.
DRINK POLICY:
Our venue is BYOB. Must be 21+ years of age and present valid ID to consume alcoholic beverages on the premises. We reserve the right to deny service to anyone.
