Learn to play the popular traditional Chinese tile game that is beneficial for brain health and helps to guard against cognitive decline. Join me as we build our social connections learning this age old game from the mid 19th Century! In these very special Social Dinner sessions - I will teach you about the important history or Mahjong, the many health benefits of this timeless game and I will teach you how to play! Please note these fun evenings are aimed at beginner players (those who have not played mahjong before).
This game requires 4 x players. Why not come with your family and friends for a fun night out at our Traditional Teahouse in Hout Bay! This is a hands-on, intimate and interactive workshop providing you with the basics and building blocks to be able to play this timeless game that has been passed down from generation to generation!

A unique Culture Cuisine experience in a relaxed, casual environment learning this timeless and popular tile game that has significant health and social wellbeing benefits. Please note this is a beginner class and is a small group consisting of 4 x players per table and limited number of tables - providing you with maximum contact time to learn the game and the history and health benefits!

We will have our fully stocked bar and bar service available for you to order your favourite local beers, Chinese beers, Japanese whiskies, sales, sojus and many more beverages! We will run a tab for you to settle at the end of the evening.
