Workshop with World-Renowned Choreographer Ravi Varma
As part of his North American Tour, in partnership with Lenin Dance Academy Dallas, Ravi Varma is coming to Calgary for an exclusive dance workshop.
With more than 15 years of experience in the global dance industry, Ravi has judged, performed, and choreographed across numerous platforms including Dance+, Kings of Dance, and Dance vs Dance. He is also an international judge at Hip Hop International and has trained several well-known artists including Karthik, Santhosh Narayanan, Siddharth, Dhee, and Yogi B.
Ravi is known for blending street styles such as hip hop, funk styles, and house with Indian folk and contemporary dance. His choreography focuses on musicality, storytelling, and strong foundational training that helps dancers grow technically and artistically.
Having taught across more than 20 countries and served as a guest educator at leading institutions including IIT Kanpur, IIT Chennai, Hansraj College Delhi, and Women’s Christian College Chennai, Ravi continues to inspire dancers around the world.
