What if the same God who engineered the universe also wired your child to build, create, and solve problems?
Made in His Image: Built to Build is a 3-day Vacation Bible School program hosted by Glad Tidings Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Slidell, Louisiana. Designed for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade, this program connects the dots between God's Word and the world of engineering — showing kids that every field of science and technology reflects the Creator who made it all possible.
This is not your average VBS. Every day includes hands-on activities, Bible-based lessons, snacks, meals, and real exposure to engineering careers and pathways. On our final day, we'll bring the week to life with a STEM Fun Day field trip.
KIDS MUST ATTEND AT LEAST 2 VBS DAYS TO RECEIVE FIELD TRIP TICKET.
WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHO IS THIS FOR?
Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade are welcome. No prior STEM experience needed — just a curious mind and a ready heart.

Info: Kids explore the cosmos, NASA, and what it means that God engineered the universe — then gave us the minds to explore it.

Day 3 / Sabbath — Saturday, August 1 Wired for More | Church Program
Info: Church service where kids will share what they've learned, tour their models, and head out on a fun field trip after church!
Day 3 / Sabbath – Saturday, August 1st | Field Trip Experience!
Info: We will enjoy a free pizza at the church after the service and then head to the field trip at 2 p.m.! The drive is about 30 mins. Parents must attend with their child.
