Rediscovering lost and overlooked narratives in Slidell, LA. In 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated the Slidell area, destroying more than 95% of the files and records of the Slidell Museum. This class will discuss the ongoing efforts to rebuild lost information and rebuild the historic narratives revealing Slidell’s vibrant past.
