MacKay Creek Restoration Event

Join us for a hands-on restoration event at MacKay Creek! Spend the day outdoors with your community, helping remove invasive plants and making space for native species to thrive.

No experience is needed. You’ll learn about local invasive and native plants, meet others who care about the environment, and make a tangible difference for this important urban ecosystem.

Come prepared to get your hands dirty, connect with your community, and show some love for MacKay Creek!

Parking is available at the Capilano Mall. The 240 bus also stops at the Capilano Mall.

We will provide tools, gloves, and light snacks.

Please wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and clothing appropriate for the weather that can get dirty!

Please also bring the following:

- a hat

- water bottle

- sunscreen or rain gear as needed
