Lunar New Year (Year of Snake) Celebration

Lunar New Year falls on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, ushering in a season of renewal and prosperity. It is one of the most important celebrations in many Asian cultures. We want to share the customs and celebrate this important festival with all of you. The event will feature a reception of Lunar new year snacks, tea, traditional new year crafts including Lunar New Year perfurm lucky pouch or door wreath making . Come join us for a heartfelt celebration to welcome Year of Snake!

One of the cherished traditions of Lunar New Year is visiting temples to seek blessings and guidance for the year ahead. Fortune stick telling, also known as Kau Cim (求籤), is an ancient Chinese practice that offers insight into the year ahead. It is a popular activity during Lunar New Year, as this period is seen as a fresh start, full of possibilities and opportunities. This year, you will have a chance to test your luck and gain insights for the year with fortune stick telling.
