Celebrate Christmas in Lufkin at the Lighting of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Pumping Unit, presented by LUFKIN Industries.
Join us Friday, December 4, 2026, in Downtown Lufkin for one of our community's most beloved holiday traditions. Families, friends, visitors, businesses, and local organizations are invited to gather on the plaza for a festive evening filled with holiday cheer, photo opportunities, and the official lighting of Rudolph.
The event begins at 5:00 PM. Rudolph will light up at dusk, following the LUFKIN Industries announcement.
Rudolph is a rain-or-shine tradition, so the lighting will continue as planned unless official updates are posted by Visit Lufkin.
After the lighting, stay downtown for a family-friendly movie in Cotton Square. Make plans to enjoy the full evening in Downtown Lufkin with the lighting, photos, dinner, shopping, coffee, and the movie.
