Loy Krathong festival is when Thai people launch small biodegradable, banana tree and leaf boats holding token offerings to say thank you to the waters that have brought them life and to say sorry for any harm they may caused to the waters such as pollution or wastage. Baan Rao will celebrate Loy Krathong this year with a BBQ at Mui Wo beach.
Why not join us as we watch our home made floats drift out across Silvermine Bay? Bring your own float or make one on the night, (we will have all the bits an pieces you may need). We will have prizes for the floats as well as hopefully some fun too.
Of course we will have BBQ packs available too. More info to come.
