About this Event

Love Letters From The Diaspora: An Evening of Storytelling, Poetry and Love

Join us for a magical in-person night celebrating storytelling, poetry, and the power of love! Move beyond Romeo and Juliet and dive into heartfelt tales and expressive verses that connect us across cultures. Whether you’re a lover of words or just looking for a cozy evening, this event promises warmth, inspiration, and a shared sense of community. Come ready to laugh, cry, and fall in love all over again!

The night will end with an open mic segment, where you are free to share your own stories, songs, and poems of love.

Light refreshments will be provided!

Everyone is welcome - you do not need to be from a diasporic community to attend.

This initative is presented by The Fourth Space and sponsored by the City of Calgary as part of the Calgary Culture Days Initiative.
