💚 You’ve seen the heart-shaped lake all over Instagram. Now it’s time to stand above it.This Valentine’s weekend, ditch the usual plans and head into the Wicklow Mountains for a guided hike to Lough Ouler, hidden high on the slopes of Tonelagee.
This isn’t just a hike for the photo (though you will get it 👀). You’ll walk across ancient peatlands formed since the last Ice Age and hear how glaciers carved this dramatic landscape long before Instagram existed.
You’ll be guided by Kamila (botanist, Nature To Go) and Anthea (geologist, Nature Tales and Trails). Expect a relaxed, social vibe, great stories — a fresh way to experience Wicklow.
