Description of ride:
Join us for a fun, scenic loop ride through Virginia and North Carolina! We’ll kick things off in Chesapeake, head west to Franklin, dip down into North Carolina, and loop back north into Virginia before finishing in Pungo.
We’ll start out on I64, I664, and Route 58, with our first stop at the Wawa on Godwin Blvd near Obici Hospital to meet up with more riders. From there, we’ll roll into some of the best back roads around Lake Prince, cruising Old Myrtle and Joyner’s Bridge Road on our way to Love’s in Franklin for a quick break.
Then it’s south down Motorcycle Highway toward Gatesville, with one last stop at Morgan’s Corner before turning back northeast. The final stretch takes us along Old Swamp, over to Gallbush, through Indian Creek, across the Pungo Ferry Bridge, and into some fun, twisty sections.
We’ll wrap it all up in downtown Pungo with food, laughs, and good vibes at Pungo Pizza & Ice Cream. Feel free to join us for lunch or break off early and head home before the heat really kicks in. If you can’t make the ride but still want to hang out, feel free to meet us at Pungo Pizza—estimated arrival is around noon, give or take 10 minutes depending on traffic.
