🕗 Meet & Safety Chat: 8:00 AM
✅ Kickstands Up: Right after
📍 Meet‑Up Spot:
Wawa, 720 Woodlake Dr, Chesapeake, VA 23320
(off Greenbrier Parkway)
Dust off the bikes, grab some caffeine, and come ride with us for a full day of back roads, ferry crossings, twisties, and good eats. It’s all about smooth miles, great company, and enjoying the ride.
📍Secondary meetup spot!
Jamestown Settlement Museum (2206 Colonial Pkwy Parking).
🕗 Meet & Safety Chat: 9:30 AM
If you’re meeting us at the Secondary meetup spot instead of the main spot, please send me a message on Facebook Messenger so we know to expect you.
NOTE: If I don’t hear from anyone, we will not stop at the Jamestown Settlement Museum parking lot.
Lead RC - George B
Sweep RC - TBD
📏 Total ride: ~255 miles
🛣️ The Plan
We’ll head west on I‑64, jump onto I‑664, cruise up Route 17, and connect to Route 10 before catching the Scotland Ferry across to Jamestown—because boats are cool and it beats more highway. From there, we’ll roll west on Route 5, hit some fun twisty roads toward New Kent County, and stop to stretch and refuel (ourselves) at a Love’s near I‑64.
After that, it’s more scenic Virginia back roads as we cruise into Ashland for lunch.
🍔 Lunch Plans
Jake’s Place Restaurant & Market
🕦 ETA:: Around 11:30 AM
📏 Miles to lunch: ~135
🔁 After We Eat
We’ll fuel up at Sheetz, then ride over to Richmond Harley‑Davidson to check in, grab some photos for challenges, and do a little shopping if that’s your thing.
Once we regroup, we’ll head back toward home via I‑295, hop off at the Route 5 exit, and make a stop at Dairy Queen for a break (ice cream optional… but encouraged 🍦). From there, we’ll take Route 5 across the Benjamin Harrison Memorial Bridge, then run Route 10 with one more quick stop before wrapping things up.
Once we hit I‑664, that’s the official end of the ride—everyone can break off and head their own way from there.
Good roads, good food, and better people—doesn’t get much better than that. Hope you can make the ride! 🤘🏍️
Ride safe and have fun!
