Look Me in the Face: A Bay Area Artist Census Group Show
About this Event
Look Me in the Face is a group gallery show, showcasing the work of artists living and working in Alameda County celebrating self-representation. Look Me in My Face is an opportunity for artists to break the fourth wall, close the gap between art and artists, and platform themselves as not only artists but as the art. Look Me in the Face accepts all forms of self representation from self portraiture in all mediums, auto fiction, memoir and more! Look Me in the Face seeks to expand the definition of self portraiture and self-representitive art beyond its traditional confines.
The show will be up October 22nd-29th, with an opening reception on October 22nd from 6-9PM and viewing appointments available upon request the following week.
