The World Fantasy Convention Book Fair

WHAT: The 52nd Annual World Fantasy Convention is taking place at the Oakland Marriott City Center, from Oct. 22 through Oct. 25, 2026.

For the first time, the Dealers Room, located in the Oakland Convention Center, will be open to the public on Sunday, Oct. 25th, from 10AM - 5PM.

The WFC Dealers Room is unique, with booksellers specializing in fantasy, science fiction, horror and genre literature, sellling a variety of new and used books, collectible editions, signed copies, art and ephemera. Notable participants will include Kathmandu Books, Tachyon Publications, Liminal Fiction, Rosarium Publishing, and many other independent booksellers.

You will find signed books by the WFC 2026 author and guest attendees throughout the Book Room

COST: Admission is $10 per person - buy now at Eventbrite, or at the door

LOCATION: The Oakland Convention Center

HOW TO GET HERE: Take BART! The exit at 12th Street is one block from the Convention Center; the convention center also offers parking, and there is street parking behind the building.

Proceeds benefiting Chapter 510, a nonprofit that creates programs for kids and teens ages 8-19, centering youth imagination, identity, and experience as an integral part of their curriculum and community space.

THE WORLD FANTASY CONVENTION: This is an annual gathering of professionals and fans of fantasy, horror, and science fiction literature, taking place this year in Oakland, CA, at the Oakland Marriott City Center.
