Join us for our Monthly Meet-Up, BUT WITH A TWIST!
The Black Film Connect Screenwriter's Group will co-host this session. Jesse Kuba wil be leading a session with writing prompts & feedback for you to stimulate your creative mind.
The BFC Screenwriter's Group, which is run by Jesse Kuba, is a community that serves as a safe haven for emerging screenwriters to share early versions of their work for constructive feedback. Some of the activities of the group include; table reads, logline workshops, and writing sprints.
Jesse Kuba is a passionate writer/director, who uses cinema to shed light on the beauty, battles, and the strength of diverse communities. He was born and raised in the live wire city of Lagos, Nigeria. He migrated to San Francisco at the age of 17 to pursue his love of cinema. Jesse self-funded and directed his debut feature film called “The Moon is in Aquarius'' in 2024. The film acquired distribution after its film festival run and is currently available on Amazon prime and Tubi.
