Step inside internationally acclaimed artist and musician Lonnie Holley's temporary studio during his August residency at ArtYard.
As Holley creates new work for his solo exhibition opening October 24 as part of ArtYard's 10th anniversary season, visitors are invited to observe his creative process, experience works in progress, and encounter an artist whose practice has transformed found materials into powerful sculptures for more than four decades.
Rooted in improvisation, memory, and imagination, Lonnie's work honors people, places, and histories while revealing beauty and meaning in the overlooked.
This Open Studio takes place at ArtYard Workshop, 62A Trenton Ave, Frenchtown, NJ
