About this Event
Join internationally acclaimed artist and musician Lonnie Holley in his temporary studio for a maker workshop. Painting? Bending wire and other material? Assembling found objects? One never knows what to expect with Lonnie. Perhaps a little of all of that.
Lonnie will be in residence at ArtYard throughout August, creating new work for a solo exhibition opening Oct. 24 as part of ArtYard’s 10th anniversary season.
Known for transforming found materials into powerful sculptures that honor people, places, and histories, Holley has spent more than four decades cultivating a practice rooted in improvisation, memory, and imagination.
This workshop is limited to 15 participants.
This Maker Workshop takes place at ArtYard Workshop, 62A Trenton Ave, Frenchtown, NJ
