In this workshop we will explore the practical and hands-on techniques, that will become an invaluable addition to your toolkit, which will enhance your longevity as a dancer.
Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine principles will be used in the forms of;
▪︎Simple pattern recognition for diagnosis
▪︎Hands-on practical point location and application of pressure/stimulation to activate relevant acu-points.
To achieve;
○Enhanced nervous system regulation
○Better, faster musculoskeletal recovery, after prolonged exercise or after injury
●Utilising both these systems will help shift the body into a deeper healing phase, a better mind-body connection and feeling of well-being.
●In addition we will also cover;
•Food as medicine
•Supplements, herbs, essential oils an plasters - to enhance recovery and well-being.
What to bring and wear:-
Bring pencil/pen. Wear loose clothing.
Notes will be provided with clear description of point/diagrams and other points on interest.
Gabriella has been a TCM practitioner for the last 35yrs, has her Masters in TCM - Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been dancing since 2002💃
