Zill Play: Less is More with Rachel Bond

Add sparkle to your dancing! Finger cymbals are challenging to master, but even beginners or the ‘rhythmically challenged’ can use them to layer in some texture and personality.
Constant zill playing is not only exhausting for you, it can be grating for an audience. Instead, choosing strategic moments to tek and trill is a delightful way to adorn your moves and music. Using a simple choreo as our framework, Rachel will guide you through when and how to spice it up with basic percussion riffs. You’ll gain practical ideas of how to incorporate zills playfully - and without the overwhelm!
Level: Beyond Beginners and up.
Finger cymbal experience not required.
Bring your own properly elasticated cymbals if possible, along with ‘baby bootees’ to muffle them. A few spare sets will be available if you don’t have your own yet (or order them in advance from Amera’s Palace).
T&C: Please note this ticket is non refundable.
