Calling all local authors and history lovers! In honor of National Preservation Month (May), we are hosting a special Local Authors Book Fair to celebrate the stories that preserve and bring our community's rich history to life—both true accounts and historical fiction set in our area.We already have 15 confirmed authors ready to meet and greet visitors from 10 am to noon, sharing insights into their books, writing processes, and the local history they've captured. Come early for the focused author interactions and personal connections!
Throughout the day—from 10 am until the museum closes at 4 pm—enjoy a used book sale featuring gently loved titles, plus a silent auction of rare old books, vintage magazines, and historical treasures. Bid at your leisure and take home unique pieces while supporting preservation efforts.
