Spend an enriching afternoon at the Arts Council with a hands-on Introduction to Nature Journaling workshop on Monday, May 11, from 11:00am-1:00pm. The workshop is designed for adults of all skill levels - no artistic talent is required – just curiosity and observation. The workshop will be led by local naturalist and artist/educator, Mary Knierim.All supplies will be provided; however, participants are encouraged to bring a few specimens of their choice such as leaves, twigs, and dried blooms, and may also bring their own sketchbooks and art supplies if they choose.
The workshop will meet at the Arts Council Gallery located at 349 South Caldwell Street in Brevard. The registration fee for the workshop is $20, and registration is available online at tcarts.org/adult-workshops or by calling the Arts Council at (828) 884-2787.
