Liz Jones & Broken Windows

Liz Jones is finally bringing the full fat Edinburgh 6 piece 'Broken Windows' to The Netherlands, after 3 successful solo/duo NL tours. Individually this group have all performed here with other acts like 'Blues'N'Trouble' and 'Safehouse'. This all original material group who move across the roots genres of blues, rock, folk, psychedelia and more, sound refreshingly unique. Their style lies firmly with the un-vain spirit of 60s music, soaring raw vocals and top notch musicianship, pulling broad inspirations together for a set with lots of variety. Organ, percussion and a freedom with genre and dynamics have seen them compared to Little Feat and later Fleetwood Mac. Blues’N’Trouble fans will recognise original guitarist John Bruce on stratocaster, and those who have seen Liz perform here in recent years will recognise exceptional percussionist and multi instrumentalist Suzy Cargill.
