Explore the history of the Great War on the Museum and Memorial grounds all weekend long with the Living History Volunteer Corps! Guests will have the opportunity to closely view and ask questions about non-accessioned WWI objects.
Hosted in partnership with Sgt. Alvin C. York State Historic Park, Kansas City Dawn Patrol, WW1USA and Shawnee Town 1929.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Saturday Oct. 25 - Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
FREE to the public, no tickets needed. Free parking!
Southeast Lawn
Accessibility note: this event will take place on the grass. Please expect some uneven terrain. Some areas are served by paved walkways. Parking areas, including ADA designated spots, provide step-free access to the paved walkways and the Museum and Memorial entrance.
