About this Event
Held to mark the country's National Poetry Day celebrations, this guided tour takes visitors around the historic city of Lancaster, highlighting various locations of literary significance, bringing them to life through a number of readings. Contributions range from the doggerel of a 16th Century bargeman, singing the praises of local hospitality, to the supernatural stories of a 21st Century crime writer, casting sinister shadows over the streets of the city!
The tour departs from Lancaster Castle’s main entrance – the John O’Gaunt Gatehouse – at 2pm and lasts around 2 hours.
Adults - £8:00 per person
