Join us for this special Friday night Listyn KC, when we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the release of The Beatles' groundbreaking album, Rubber Soul. This essential album is a profoundly influential and innovative masterpiece, marking a significant evolution in the band's songwriting and production.
Released in 1965, Rubber Soul moved beyond simple pop tunes, exploring deeper, more personal lyrical themes and incorporating a wider range of instrumentation and studio experimentation. Its unified sound and artistic ambition are widely credited as being foundational to the birth of modern album rock, proving that an album could be an cohesive, artistic statement rather than just a collection of singles.
Join us at The Listyning Room to experience this timeless record in all its sonic glory. Before a full play of the main album, we will also explore The Beatles' influences as well as their impact on artists that came after them.

$20 Donation for this event supports Center For Recorded Music 501(c)(3) and includes admission, complimentary snacks and beverages including soft drinks, flavored waters, and up to 3 complimentary adult beverages from a great selection of beer, wine, mixed drinks, and NA versions of your favorites.
