About this Event

Deep rest through sound. A grounding experience to soften the body, calm the nervous system, and restore balance.

This gathering offers space to pause, to set down what you're carrying, and simply listen.

Listening in the In-Between is a small-group, intentionally paced sound experience designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and quiet renewal.

Using an evolving collection of resonant instruments, singing bowls, wind instruments, bells, chimes, gong, and more, this session creates a spacious field of sound where nothing is required of you. Each gathering carries its own tone, shaped by the instruments chosen for that day. Participants are invited to lie down or sit comfortably, soften the body, and simply receive.
This is energy work, and what surfaces can vary. For some, it feels deeply relaxing. For others, sensation, emotion, or discomfort may rise as things move and release. Both are welcome here. There is no right way to experience this space.

Following the sound journey, we will transition slowly into warm herbal tea. Sharing is welcomed but never required. This space is offered for integration, reflection, and quiet connection before returning to the outside world.

Doors open at 1:45pm, with the sound bath beginning promptly at 2:00pm. Capacity is intentionally limited to maintain an intimate and contained experience.

No prior experience with meditation or sound healing is necessary.

This Month's Herbal Ally: Peppermint

Each gathering is paired with a plant that echoes the season and the work we're doing together. This month, we turn to peppermint, an herb that grows rampant this time of year, resilient, wide-rooted, and impossible to contain.

Peppermint calms the stomach even as it stimulates the mind, a small reminder that rest and vitality aren't opposites. Its roots can travel many feet beneath the surface, quietly anchoring the plant no matter what's happening above ground.

Peppermint has long been associated with clarity, renewal, and protection, burned or brewed to clear stagnant energy and invigorate the spirit. We'll close our time together with warm peppermint tea, carrying that same steadiness and clarity with us as we return to the outside world.

Hosted by Birthing Dawn, a practice devoted to earth based rhythms, deep listening, and embodied restoration.
