Dr. Grandeo has been a faculty member of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Lynchburg since 2014. He received his Doctorate of Science from Bellin College in 2022. He is a Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association and completed Fellowship training with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. During his Fellowship training he completed course work that initiated his interest in the study of pain neuroscience. Since that time he has completed several continuing education courses that have expanded his knowledge in this subject matter. Prior to entering into academia, he worked full time as a clinician treating several individuals who are experiencing chronic pain. He continues this work at the University of Lynchburg Community Health Center, our pro bono PT clinic, and at BWX Technologies at their Mount Athos Road facility.
