Long Island's finest artisans will be on hand at the annual show featuring handcrafted furniture, woodturnings, scroll saw work and carvings. Live woodturning, scroll saw demonstrations and hand planing, a toy workshop with free wooden toys for the kids, a used tool garage sale, a gift shop, raffle prizes and vendors selling tools and accessories. Chuck Bender, former senior editor of Popular Woodworking magazine will give 4 seminars each day on Bermuda Dovetails, Creating Shop Drawings, Carving a Scallop Shell and Spindle Turning for Furniture Makers.
Sept. 13 & 14 10am - 5pm at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City.
The show is free with paid admission to the museum.
