As a seriel ‘people watcher’, Brandy will make sure you not only look good out there on the dance floor or while facilitating a session, but you are using proper ergonomics and posture to prevent injury too!
What you will learn:
Using our Mountain Mobile Education approach of combining Clinical and Sports Massage practices, the therapist will be able to level up their offerings and confidently analyze then assess a patient’s posture/gait before treatment to determine what to do to help them before they ever get on a massage table; which is oftentimes overlooked.
During class, students will learn how to utilize a ‘Postural Analysis Grid’ to assess the patient’s posture/gait as well as perform a variety of flexibility/movement tests to determine what muscles need to be shortened/lengthened during a massage treatment.
When using the correct exercises and massage applications to help with dysfunctions, along with clear communication and goal setting involving the client, students will be able to build their confidence in applying our process while accelerating achieving their clients mobility goals.
